umbraeternam: till the end of days. (♫ here they come to snuff the rooster)

Kylo can't help but roll her eyes at the response, not that she expected much different. Typical. She was daring to show an ounce of kindness in warning him and he continued to be indignant.

When she leaves the Knight returns, and even though stormtroopers come and go through the night, there always remains a Knight of Ren standing guard. Kylo doubts anyone realizes it's as much to make sure there's no repeat of a sympathetic trooper as it is to deter any from trying to strike out at Poe. The pilot had earned plenty of enemies with his antics, although none more of a threat than Hux. And she didn't remotely trust the General not to try and do something if Poe were left unguarded.

Hours pass and eventually an officer with troopers in tow comes for the pilot. He'll be shackled at wrists and ankles before being taken from the cell. The destination is a large windowless room set up with video equipment and the like. Almost immediately General Hux appears in front of the group, all darkness and sharp edges, and if looks could kill Poe would be in trouble.

"Not so cocky now, are you?" he sneers, and not a half second later hauls off and smacks Poe hard across the face.

"General..."

The synthesized warning comes loud and menacing from the other end of the room. The way Hux suddenly stiffens hints there might have been more to the word than voice alone.

"Apologies, Supreme Leader." Hux forces out, glaring darkly at Poe before moving away to speak with the people behind the camera.

The throne set up at the end of the room opposite the camera equipment isn't as grand as the one on the Supremacy but it gets the point across. On the wall is a dark backdrop, the First Order emblem looming in the center, so red it almost looks like fresh blood.

And on the throne, the picture Kylo herself paints is no doubt familiar to Poe. All-black garments cover every inch, and though the mask is nearly the same design as before it glints easily in the light, being as it hasn't seen battle. The voice changer within is the same as well.

Kylo watches from behind her mask as the troopers bring Poe forward. "Ah, the star of the show is finally here. I wonder how the Resistance will feel, seeing their precious hero in such a state." She's not pleased with the outburst from Hux, but she can't deny it will add a suitable element to the image presented. The Knight who had trailed behind the group when they left the holding cells silently joins the two others who flank her throne.

As someone shouts that they're nearly ready the stormtroopers shove Poe to his knees facing the camera. The General stalks over, glowering at the pilot, almost seeming like he wants to strike out again but a vaguely concerned glance is cast Kylo's way.
