[ “a few weeks ago” is what actually makes him take pause first. he doesn't like having no grasp of the passage of time between being unconscious and being awake for fresh rounds of torture. even in those occasional gaps of time left on his own, it's hard to track the time. especially with very little in the way of outside stimulation. solitary confinement in a bedroom with a shower is still solitary confinement. he tries to exercise — push-ups, sit-ups, etc — to pass the time, but it feels meaningless. (sometimes he touches himself and tries to think of finn, or any previous sexual encounters he’s had, to try and rinse the unwanted encounters with brianna from his mind.)
